Reduces to a minimum allergic reactions through pollen transfer. |

It is estimated that approximately 15 -20 % of the world population suffers from hay fever. And it seems that this figure is increasing.
Pollen dispersal:
- Pollen dispersal is strongly affected by the summer climate.
- The level of pollen increases when the summer is hotter or sunshine is tronger.
Pollen is a very fine powder released by trees and grass, which can cause severe pollen allergic reactions.

Medical care
Precautions
- Do not bring pollen into the house.
- Eliminate pollen, wash / brush.
- Clean divan and curtains.
As everybody knows, this advice in itself is not very effective!
BAYPROTECT® NANO-POLLEN is our product used also in finishing, based on a nano-dispersion polysiloxane derivative.
A nano-dispersion, like BAYPROTECT® NANO-POLLEN, penetrates deep into the fabric and sticks to the fibres.
This will provide unique properties to the fibres. Due to the presence of BAYPROTECT® NANO-POLLEN, the pollen cannot bind
onto the fibres. The pollen will only stick lightly to the fibres and can easily be removed by simple mechanical movements.
The unique properties of this product allow for example an easy removal of the pollen before entering the house.
This could prevent pollution of the living environment and ultimately lead to a reduction of pollen-heath problems like hay fever. |

Position the fabric on the pollen release device after having uniformly distributed the pollen (e.g Japan cedar) on the fabrics.
Give the fabrics the prescribed vibrations (lightly done by hand) to be able to release the pollen.
Take pictures of the fabric before and after release with the microscope and count the amount of pollen on the fabrics.
Calculate the diminishing rate by the respective numerical expressions.
Compare the diminishing rates on the processed fabrics and non processed fabrics. |
