The new market trends call for the development of fabrics that can perform better and that are more innovative. These requirements have pointed out the following features:
Softness
Lightness
Heat Insulating
Ventilation
Hygiene
Natural Aspect
Colour and Style
The Stellini Textile Group, in partnership with its own spinning department,
has developed and created a new thread made from polyolefin, which has all
these features inside.
Softness and lightness are guaranteed by a thread with a large number of thin filaments.
Thanks to a special process, these filaments are arranged in a very irregular way;
the result is a more voluminous thread.
The air caught between the fibres provides a very good heat insulating.
The micro spaces between the filaments provide a high level of ventilation and an excellent
vapour permeability.
These technical features, together with the polymer characteristics, guarantee good
fabric hygiene. The irregular look of the thread creates a pleasing natural aspect and permits
us the creation of many fabric combinations, always very soft and light,
in combination with other yarns, like cotton and viscose.
Aerlan thread is colourfast so we can provide a very large range of different colours
and stylish combinations.
Aerlan Plus
For particular hygiene requirements we have created Aerlan Plus in which we have inglobated special additives into the polymer base. These additives guarantee permanent antibacterial and anti dust mite characteristics.
Aerlan FR
One of the biggest problems we always face in the creation of F.R fabric is in preserving the natural look but after F.R. treatment with Aerlan FR we have resolved these problems definitively. Modifying the base polymer we obtain a fireproof yarn. Well mixed with other fibres, Aerlan FR allows the creation of ticking which passes the EN597 1 and 2 tests successfully.
Aerlan Fantasy
Joining together different Aerlan threads, with different dimensions and colours, we obtain yarns that enable the production of three-dimensional fabrics to great effect.
